Ciudad Perdida: Day 5

2 October 2011

Day 5, our last day, we had to cover the path we took on Day 1 and Day 2 straight in one day. So as usual, we started to walk about 7 in the morning.
I think Day 5 was the hardest day. We had to do the long climbing up way which felt endless. I didn't remember we took this long inclined way (climbing down) in Day 1 and 2.
We took a short rest in Day 1 camp, where our guide provided watermelon and biscuits.
Finally we arrived at the starting point around 3 or 4pm, where our delicious lunch was waiting.
Everybody celebrated the victory with a promise to gather that night at La Brisa Loca hostel in Santa Marta.
What a nice and memorable trekking!
